A Recent Commission

I recently completed a commission piece for a client wanting to create a 18th birthday gift to remember! A scene around Circular Quay, that most of us are familiar with: the buskers, the ferries, harbour bridge and the people! A favourite spot of the family, I tried to capture their memory in my own style. Hope you like it!

A New Year

A new year and things just run away from you. It’s nearly May and that means we’re nearly half way through the year. Time flies and I just have noticed that I haven’t posted in a looonnng time!

I recently received 2 Commendations for my work, at the Drummoyne Art Awards + 2 sales. Yippee!

Plus 3 Sales at the Royal Easter Show last week.

I would like to say a big “thank you” to my buyers out there! I appreciate the support you provide for my work and hope you enjoy my art on your walls for years to come!

‘Boats on the Bay’, Commended in Canada Bay District Artwork. Judge’s comments: “Nicely handled watercolour”

‘Lets meet at Town Hall’, Commended in Watercolour. Judge’s comments: “Lively and well observed art work”

Commission work

I have been busy catching up with commission work lately.

I have been contacted through shows I have exhibited in, or through this website, to create one-off special pieces. These can be personal mementos captured in an artwork or farewell gifts, just to name a few examples.

One recently completed, is a commission painting I did of a beloved house that a family once grew up in.
